Twice I managed to set the cat on fire by accident in my parents' kitchen. I remember telling my dad to use the fire extinguisher. It was old anyways, it was a good moment to buy a new one afterwards (where were my priorities at this moment?) After the second fire was out I opened the still sizzling cloth, scared to find the lifeless body of my cat inside, but she was fine and I felt a bit stupid.
I was in Italy with Laura and her Italian friends were talking to me, I could understand them. I was using my phone and I was connected to people I had just met through all sorts of social networks, it was really easy to find people and see what they were doing at the moment. There was a guy that kept sending me messages, assuming I liked him as much as I did. We walked from a street to this lookout point. over the edge was a big rough sea with a lot of icicles. In the square I was looking out from was a collection of dumpsters, with small icebergs on top, with swimming pools inside. Young people were in their swimwear having fun, sunbathing or sitting in the water. It was a weir clash of temperatures.
