Reader one FEMINIST DISCOURSE: PATRIARCHAL GAZE IN VISUAL CULTURE

Outline: Each of us want to read upon a different book/article about feminism and photography & cinema. After we've read it, we produce a conclusion which we use to reflect on a specific media outlet (like a movie, a photo series etc.), Then we combine our analyses to make a zine. The theme of our zine is 'The patriarchal gaze in visual culture'. The idea of the zine resonates with the activist feminist angle and is appealing and easy to spread.
