A game / technique created by artists from the surrealist movement in which a phrase or drawing are collectively created. A game / technique created by artists from the surrealist movement in which a phrase or drawing are collectively created. The game works by passing an incomplete or partial message (a drawing with only one edge exposed, or a phrase with missing parts) and each participant in turn adding their contribution. While playing, no participant has full knowledge or view on the entire work so that the resulting composition is a surprising assemblage of each participants contribution.
