These are prototypes for live size installations on body awareness | self-perception.

The human template corridor is a literal application of a body prosthesis for a pathway. Ideal measurements for architecture that comply with those of the human body and its possible range of movements keep on being spoken of. There are plenty of experiments ranging from the organization and dimensioning of functional parts in a building to futuristic experiments of individual sheltering (...) But the corridor's main goal, despite its theoretical charge, is to bring the experiencing of the space onto the skin. If in one hand architecture tends to rely on body related functional measuring in order to justify itself in other it tends to get totally detached from materiality in the way it is designed and consumed (...)

The three boxes have different soft materials and a visitor has to rub his/her body against it in order to go through. Surface microphones installed along it record and play live, substantially amplified, the sound produced by this contact. Once again it is about bringing the boundaries of space onto the skin and make the user aware of the consequences produced by his/her own presence within it (...)

The "mirror" installation is a Magritte Revisited prototype. A camera installed on the back wall records the visitor from behind and plays it live in front of him on an HD screen. The image displayed should be as sharp as possible (...)
