Healing

First research, inspiration, convertsations

Fairies as symbol for reconnecting to animalistic side?

4 elements (fire play, swimming in water, digging in soil/crystals, wings)

“It is about reaching ways of earthing, of we-ing, of re-membering, in order to recover the freedom of joy, of mourning, of being in relation.”

Film with intent (what does it mean to film this or that) but let it happen naturally and not forceful.

Consciously shoot specific colors that fit the direction(Green?)

Create a slow pace that fits the message.

How do I want the viewer to change their perception of life (look at plants differently, calm down)

Topics herbs(picking it, what it can be used for, essential oils, tinctures…)

Shoot detailed shots, that zoom in

Especially in The Netherlands it is important to regain our very distanced connection to nature and reflect how alien “nature in cities” is being portrayed (plants in offices…)

Show organic shapes, not many sharp lined shots

Focus on textures/smells

Document rituals

Play with two visuals next to each other giving information on herbs (Third voice?)

Text with silence to add information

Show nuances of reality

Play with humour/irony?

Focus on: Conflict/politics? Loss of family? Love letter? Culture clash? Leaving a predictable path behind rooted/unrooted/family ties

InspiratioN; Watch "I am another you" Vice

Is it about me or her? Why do I not live like this? Is it because my parents told me so? Diaristic; "Why am I not there with her?" The meaning of a shot derives from its previous one. Do not make it too naive

Questions for her;

Warum wolltest du Deutschland verlassen? hast du in Ungarn gefunden, was du gesucht hast?

To do; Film/ Interview in Berlin (train shots/ quick environment)
