Project abstract:
Pretty Fly For A Wifi is a combination of pots and pans, dishes and cans through which people from around the world give shape to their collective dream of making an alternative internet. As a testament to those attempts Pretty Fly For A Wifi shows and documents these objects and devices.
Bio:
Roel Roscam Abbing (NL) is an artist, researcher and script kiddie who spent too much time on his computer. Out of this a collaborative practice emerged in which deals with the cultures and issues surrounding networked computation.
