I was curious about the different kinds of geocaches hidden in the city of Rotterdam and wether I could find some.
This is why I made a geocaching account and started to pick some caches on the map around me to look for:

I did some research to understand the code of conduct around making geocaches and what regulations to follow. There seems to be a few general points to really keep in mind. The cache should be located close to where you live, so you are able to check up on it and fix it if it's damaged etc. Also caches should be hidden in a distance of at least 180m of each other. You should not promote any commercial or non-commercial causes using geocaching.
