Three basic techniques:
- Engraving
- Cutting
- Kiss-cutting
We start by drawing a proper file, so the laser cutter can know what we want to do.
Start in Illustrator or Incscape.
3 squares, one into another. the centre one - paint in black - to engrave. we make the border of the middle square in blue - to kiss-cut it. and finally, paint the border of the third (outer) square in red - to cut it out completely.
File format = pdf, illustrator, png, SVG. Everything that Illustrator can open, ideally an ie file (illustrator) Send the file to the chat
