My favourite tree is the walnut tree. We used to have a big one in my grandparents' backyard. I loved how it changes with every season. One summer, I remember building (or at least I tried) a small room under its big, leafy branches. It was a hot summer and the tree provided the so-desired shadow and chill. I loved when the fruits (nuts) started to come out of their beds and grow. It was interesting to look at the green nutshell and then break it in order to reach the nut itself. | |||
