VERY QUICK NOTES, writing along as you speak.
rather vague
diving into interest.
reading three books:
1. visual perception, handbook for psychology students. combines assets, filosophical, psychological, neurological.
2. oliver sacks, about visual perception. how it is filled in.
3. human space. german guy wrote it in the sixties. relate to space, from dreams to right now.
along with that he's been experimenting with animation. flip books
depth, optical toys.
problem: difficult to find a direction within that, to distill a project from that.
thinking about form, physical object, not necessarily a projection. or using physicality in a projection. using all the techniques.
emergence of cinematic time >> history of the idea of the after image.
suspencion of perception >> general change in peoples subjectivity.
techniques of the observer >> classic book.
