Visual Communication for "Politics of Craft" exhibit run by Florian Cramer.
First of all, designing using digital tools against their main concept of efficiency. Inefficiency as a performance, the design becomes the documentation.
The back image was the outcome of a workshop with the artists. The workshop consisted of them bringing images or whatever they thought could relate with their researches, and then we would just have fun with the scanner making compositions.
Those images where printed with the neighbors color digital printers (a bit expensive) afterwards a silk screen layer with information for the exhibition was printed on top. The image printed on top was hand drew on PhotoShop based in a Pattern from William Morris. The same with the typography, it was designed using one of his original typefaces and designing on top to make the alphabet, than write everything. All the drawings were made with a 8bit brush.
The floor-plan was made using the same process and printed on a stencil printer, aka Risograph
