Description

I've had a former history with mushrooms, being surrounded by forests and polar bears. My mom and I used to walk around our family island and pick mushrooms. She would show which one was good and which ones were toxic. My mom has a liking for mushrooms and so I suppose I inherited it too. I'm currently fascinated by the spores initial brittleness, a sort of risk of organic system failure is always imminnent. Once the spores take hold in a good environment they can grow large (undeground) and remain there for years, even millennia, cloning themselves in order to rejuvenate.

I've bought a growing kit from an online site, read the instructions on how to grow it but the spore colony doesn't seem to want to take hold. I'll have to ask around during my mushroom workshoop @ Mediamatic on 2015-042-6

I'd also like to paint the mushrooms with some kind of electrically conducting paint, as mushrooms tend to grow larger after being exposed to specific electrical inputs. Those with more paint gain a larger growth rate than those without, so you would have a 3D drawing on top of mushroom caps.
