INT. ROOM - NIGHT
It is (half) dark. The lights surrounding a mirror in the room fade on. A young woman (25) with a tower around a hair walks inside. She has a sullen face when she walks into the light and picks up the lipstick from the dressing table.
When the girl puts on her lipstick a logo appears on the mirror -- as if on a screen. "EMOT.A.FFECT" it says. For a short moment she rolls her eyes and plays for herself a (somewhat theatrical) smile.
Then the logo disappears and a text appears "WARMING UP - lips". The girl does some bwrbwr-sounds with her lips, followed by some smiling and lip pressure, before continuing with her mascara.
A little beep. The "lips" on the mirror is replaced by "brows". The girl raises and lowers her brow and with a neutral face she continues her mascara on her other eye.
The text disappears. For a short moment the screen says "1", before it is gone and percentages appear. She acts as if she's in a happy conversation and is listening engaged. Some of the percentages on the mirror turn green. For a moment they disappear and a "2" appears.
When the percentages reappear the girl is having a frown on her face and nods understandingly. Again most of the percentages turn green. A "3" appears and the girl's smile becomes even bigger. In a theatrical thinking pose she puts a finder on her chin, then looks in the mirror with an aha-I-get-what-you-mean-nice-one look/smile. She cuts of this look quite abruptly and some numbers on the mirror turn red. For a moment she looks sincerely annoyed/pissed, and puts the mascara hard back on the table. Then she shows a lovely smile. The numbers turn green again.
She releases her hair and stands up to grabs a shirt. While combing her hair she looks at the mirror and tries two other faces. For a moment she looks more neutral and bites her lip. Then she puts on her smile again and leaves the room.
The lights and mirror/screen fade out as she closes the door.
She then grabs her bag and walks out of the house. Again all the lights go off automatically when closing the door.
The camera pans towards the entrance of the appartment complex
The girl reappears at the entrance of the building and walks towards a bus stop. The lighted ad there says " Find your true being. Emot.a.ffect" -- accompanied by two smiling stack photograph characters.
The girl looks at the poster for a moment and theatrically mirrors the smile of the characters.
Then she turned and walked into the street.
