I had the chance to see a performance that was rumoured to be very good. BIMBO (2011) is from theatre group Boogaerdt/VanderSchoot who connect relevant themes and aspects of media and theatre in their work. The piece shows the sexualization of media through repetition and clever use of stage, performers, and screens. To me this is an example of a successful merge between media and performance that enhance each other.
