Stree light project on progress :)
This is my mock up made of matchsticks, plastic ropes, glue, hot glue and yellow rotterdam hogeschool letter.
Before i started designing the model i found simple solutions to open and close the light but i wanted to make it more animatic.
mechanism:
-The proportions are not right but it is a tryout for the mechanism to see how it works.
-The mechanism works good but because it is a small mockup the rope has a stress on it.
-There is a missing part to tie the mockup to the street light. I will make it after i finish the real mockup
