What was your breakfast today?
I had orange juice, yoghurt with fruits and coffee. Ah and a soy chocolate. I like food very much.
And what are you working on when you get up? when you have the whole day for you…
I mostly think about life and I am also working on websites, I design and code in collaboration with other people. But I am the main designer.
So you are a philosopher, a designer and a programmer?
Exactly. They call me talented.
What is the website you are currently working on? What makes it different to the other websites online?
It makes you think, it keeps you on it and there is animation – slight animation that keeps you intrigued.
And what is the website about? Is it under a topic? Is it artistic?
Yeah. But I do not like the word "artistic". It is about balance. Balance in your life.
So is also your philosophic activity influencing this website?
Yes.
So all your talents come together in this website.
Exactly. I gather everything in one: design, philosophy and programming. And that is the balance between the three talents that I have.
And how do you work? What tools do you need?
Firstly my brain. My eyes are important as well. They are connected to my brain. and my hands. It is all bodywork. I do not really need anything else but in order to create this virtual space I do tempt use this thing called computer / ordinateur. And for that I need eyes and fingers and sometimes I need my ears to listen music. Mostly I hear meditation music while I am working. on my computer I use a few programs but that is not important.
So I see now why you are also caring about what you eat because your body is your most important tool.
Yes. It is my home. It is everything.
I heard your work will be visible at CAC next week? how can the visitor experience the website there?
Listen, Xam. I do not like the word "art" as I said previously. But I was forced by curators (this is how they call themselves) to exhibit my philosophy in this physical space what they like to call contemporary art center. for it is just … I do not care who sees it. But to come back to your question, I see an empty room with four walls and a link written on one of the walls and then they can go home and look it up there. there is not a computer.
So they can not experience the website at the CAC?
They will experience something, thought and balance. I like to make things very simple.
What if people open the link with their smartphones? would that be bad?
They can. But I do not want to put something else in the room, just the link on the wall. Maybe also a QR code for smartphone users.

7:35 – unklar

experience this comfortably not in a gallery where everyone is like fighting to be on the computer. for the balance experience.
what is your main interest personally?
i am doing this for myself. i do not care about anyone else… people there are useless.
what is the power behind this project?
when you visit this website it will be a moment for you to pause. start thinking. it is like meditation, relaxation.
it is very rare that people can relax on websites and in front of their computer. because normally a computer is very stressy…
yes. this websites shuts down your computer. it is a very special website. it shuts your computer and… i can not tell you. you have to experience it for yourself.
is this work related to other works?
yes. i do not know how. but it must be. because it is my brain that connects them.
so all of your work is done with your toolset brain, hands and eyes?
yes. these are my main tools.
to get back to your work: why a website?
because i want to make it accessable to everyone. you do not need to go to a gallery space to experience this. if it would be physical something it can disappear, it can expire, it can stop existing. if it is online it…
and what is the visible part on this website?
it makes you hallucinate. the visible part is in your brain. it is optical illusions and then it shuts down and you imagine things. it is like hypnotizing, hypnotherapy. it can be many things it can affect each of you in a different way. that is what is so special about this website. it is really… every person interprets it different and has its own experience. some people might hate it. some people might love it. mybe you need to visit it once to see what is it about and then go back on it. everyone can do what they want. i do not empose anything on anyone.
i am exited to see it. happy about this interview. thanks.
