WORKSHOP
The workshop is supplemented by the online platform, wiki-style. Workshop projects, discussions and ideas can be found there as well as people from around the world who use the platform to share building plans and ideas.
The workshop should last no longer than two days, with a working camera as it's end-goal.
First day is focused on explanation of the project, intro to cameras, what exists now, how they have been created in the morning, whilst in the afternoon on discussions and designing mock-ups out of plastic plates / cardboard and existing pieces with a intermission to discuss what everyone is up to / what is different. Focus is on creating what comes from you, not re-creating what already exists.
Second day is focused on familiarizing with production techniques in the morning, people unfamiliar with these will use similar materials (So the same settings / knowledge applies). The late afternoon would consist of shooting and development of photos to see the result, with a closing discussion / presentation of the participants.
Amount of people that can participate will not be more than 8. Possibly a good idea to go in groups? But would be counterproductive.
Three day workshop could potentially be better, but afraid that people will drop out halfway due to their own scheduling and so forth.
