Playing around with sound

3 april

In here I putted different experiments. I exported some interesting stories separately. I also did a new edit on the mixed version. It is a bit too long, but to me there is some logic in it now. I will leave the sound for a day and start listening en editing it again on the 5th of april.

Mixed people from subject to subject

  • Daan about this sound:a lot of layers, it adds that it are different stories from different people. After the second story you start to recognize the theme ( the bed). In the last story the relation is not clear.Is it mother and daughter?

  • Daan about this sound: It is a nice story but it doesn't work because there is no drama in it.

2 april

After listening to the previous soundscape with Timo, we came to the conclusion that it is hard to recognize voices if they come in again and that the relation between two people is not longer sensible. So therefore I made another mix where I tried to mix it in a way that the memories would go from one set of person to the other, without mixing people who are not related as much as I did in the one of 1 april. This time with different footage, but maybe I will remix the footage from 1 april again more like this..... It might be a bit too long to animate, but I will try to put some images with it to see how sound and image work together.
