Transition/translation

Transition towards the pluriverse thus calls for an expanded concept of translation which involves ontological and epistemic dimensions(Escobar,59)

An ode to a friend who let me ask questions, and who dared to answer

There is healing hidden within others. There are some words to say on the judgement we are so fast to pass on ourselves and our experiences without further questioning. We sometimes dare to witness those who dared to be witnessed. We carve out spaces for ourselves within their stories, find our own processes in their past. Oh how miserably we fail to experience anything but love and gratitude to their shortcomings and pains, for we know all has brought them to the person standing in front of us now [1]. We are forced to take a step back and asses our own failings, maybe even learn how to slowly take back the hatred we deemed ourselves worthy of.

i love you so, i love myself.

Although you didn't ask, let me share... Life is not all about love, loving and being loved. It is nothing but witnessing and being witnessed. After all what are we but countless atoms formed in such a configuration that we experience the other atoms that make up the universe we come from, and will end up as. You are nothing but the universe splitting to pieces for a brief period just to witness itself.

We talked about how the individual is nothing but the process, and how to feel it. I feel the me that is the process as I witness you. We all know how easy it is for me to cry, still I would want you to know, there have been multiple points tonight in which witnessing you almost brought me to tears.

Thank you for sharing for seeing you makes it easier to see myself.

  1. How grateful I am of the person standing in front of me now.
