cults

  • Cults are based upon the basic idea of brainwashing people into admitting to their belief.
  • hammered/persistent indoctrination is a way of making people believe something that is not true.
  • emotional story-telling to gain people's trust.
  • showcasing miracles
  • isolation

Based on these point we can see that a single truth does not exist, and it is a highly relative phenomenon. By layering my information on this methodology of the cults, I want to create a program that identifies habits and belief-systems that we, living in a technological cult, have adopted; habits related to art, fashion, entertainment, and everyday household life. Futurism may be a topic/discourse already of the past, but we are still very actively moving forward with it's ideology as it has now seeped into the lives of the public and become commercial.

tracking people in a single location

Logging in/out is a normal procedure on online forums/spaces, and it is a way to track the movements of a single user. What if this was applied to real life? Apply a log in/out to a space and track people on the basis of their geographical location (longitude/latitude) in a single given space (in this respect, the exhibition space). To project this tracking live, and somehow play with it, by layering it with other information, or superimposing it on something to give a message.

dual spaces

The earth is an interesting space, offering multiple time-zones, weathers, cultures, colors and smells. What if one could simulate a window to the other side of the world.
