In each era the most powerful form of political organization corresponds to the dominant organizational model of economic production (political organization comes from existing relationships in society). Contemporary economic production shows that centralized command structures are no longer dominant. Decentralized, horizontal networks emerge-multitudes. The question is can they challenge the present structure of power, posing an alternative.
