Research

Open Source meeting/workshop structure - GBN-esque.

Guy Debord: Class Wargames, events hosted by Furtherfield. (Also watch The Game of War link Steve sent!: http://vimeo.com/17116481)

Crystal World - Jonathan Kemp. This project seems to touch on multiple points that I have been researching lately. This page from the xxn.org.uk wiki indicates both Ballard and Pynchon are influences.

"The Crystal World Exhibition is a cannibal-machine installation assembled from computer junk and selected minerals semi-automated (as cybernetic parody) to recursively escalate entropy through the crystalline pathologies of both raw mineral and constructed computer."

Talkaoke: http://www.talkaoke.com/ Interesting social performance. Involves a round table with a hole in the center where the "host" sits and speaks with anybody who sits at the table.

JODI - videogame works - My Desktop, focus on the methods of presenting/documenting the work.

Do
