INTERVIEW NOTES

what have you been making?

she's been doing wall writings which is a very big spaces that she starts to write on them.

she started that during the eye project because she had so many ideas that she wanted to write down and after that she started to draw everything on them. she using a way to write in shapes and it just happened to her it was not intentional. this writing style is like a picture for her. she's discovering new ways to produce work.

how does relate to film making?

it's kind of a way of tracking the process of her film making. this is a way of communicating for her. she's trying to make these wall writings into a piece and she's thinking to how to make them into moving images. she likes to move her body and the reason she started this was she hated to sit behind her computer and her body is very much linked to this project.

it has been always a desire for her to how to express herself.

how did you do it?

it's black and white and she has this hand writing that has a unique style. she is often standing and this is really interesting because she can just pick up the pen and go.

do you cut the paper?

she has not cutting it yet because she did not fill it yet. she is inspired of this artist that had a rolling piece and they did not cut the paper. it was like a infinite thing. she does not think that it does have an end but she thinks it will end at some point.

do you use layers or fo you kind of edit them?

she do use editing when she finds herself anxious and when there is parts of it that she edited in her head first. she's cutting them when she's inhering ideas together and she knows that the paper is not about that. she has not been to the point that she knows there is enough text on the paper to cut it.

she want to make another project too. she wants to develop her ways of executing things. she wants to work on the quality of the work and the images. not relaying on the ideas and focusing on the esthetics of the images. she wants to work on focusing on making images how she really wants them to look. she wrote a text about what is it to be an artist that you like. this artist tom that inspires her a lot has this way that you can see the artist in the piece.

what is your standards?

i want them to have a life source. the mood is really important to her she want to work on that and how they look.

why do you want to make it?

the reason is makes her really feel good to make these things. if she's not engaging with her practice does not make her feel good and it's more personal that how she feels. to continue to resist the dominant language.
