Draad is about Klittewik, a neighbourhood rich in colourful characters who have been shaping it for decades. As someone newly moving in, receiving the apartment of your odd aunt, your familiarity with the neighbourhood is lacklustre; only having visited it prior as a young child. If you’re going to live here you’ll have to get to know the people around you.
So meet your neighbours, establish threads, receive housewarming gifts, and figure out how you will fit into the spot left behind.

Retrieve your house keys from Fern, whoever or wherever they may be.

There are 14 neighbours roaming around Klittewik, each (except for Max) is necessary to retrieve your house keys.

Molly Morgen	bunny	This hyper-enthusiastic ever-hopping weirdo bun welcomes the player, functioning as the introduction to Klittewik’s many oddities.
Max Mustermann	human	A strikingly -normal- man, his home however is a playground of short and long-lived interests, from crossbred multicoloured mosses to rocks immaculately sculpted out of wood.
Kimmy Jimmel	peacock	Annoying talk show host who can't drop the act and lost his night time slot due to low viewership and an undisclosed controversy. Talks like how a mr beast video is edited.
Suzie Superstar	mouse	Old mouse, total diva, glitter and glamour, smokes from a cigarette holder, currently way into music production and breakcore, performing live sets now that her voice isn’t doing great.
Pup E. Mann	dog	30-40 y/o 9-to-5 worker struggling to keep up the puppy girlthing act with how busy he/they/it is. Past his puppy prime.
Bizz Ness	lion	Entrepreneurial spirit given form, Bizz is an obnoxious early-20s just-out-of-college startup-obsessed grindsetter. They’re not evil or anything, they’re just acting as they’re taught. Their current obsession is monetizing greetings and other social interactions. Employs Pup.
Nora Nevermind	possum	Highly reserved and dismissive Victorian goth girl, but has this one hyperniche hyperfixation that immediately opens her right up when mentioned. This is ofcourse a Czech children’s show mascot called Krtek.
Fern Feynman	Monkey	Theoretical physicist, he may or may not exist, but you will have to get a housewarming gift from him, somehow, after he shattered across time and space.
Barry Bongos	hippo	Upstairs neighbour, very loud! Keeps you from doing anything at home, but god damn he is so nice you just can't tell him off.
Kenny Klamp	Caiman	Kind of a Kiryu-like, clueless stoike, a croc on the older side but still insanely buff and chill.
Laura Lovegood	Raccoon	Highly and utterly invested in a fantasy series called ‘ Noon’, where ghouls and ghosts collide in battle and romance.
Betsy Bumblebee	Wasp	Wasp who fronts as a bee to avoid discrimination, spends a lot of money on honey to keep up the facade.
Jenny Jazzhands	Hedgehog	Hopelessly in love with Hand Grenade, or atleast what they used to be. Wants to make them ‘bad’ again at all costs.
Hand Grenade	Hyena	Hardcore biker turned a new leaf, literally, he loves plants now and can always be found in the neighbourhood botanic garden, but his rough touch makes botany difficult.
