The Jeanne Oosting Prize has been awarded to two painters in the Netherlands every year since 1970. The two prizes are for a painter who works predominantly in oils and the other in watercolour. David has been awarded the prize for watercolour, the prize for oils has been awarded to Dutch painter Rik Meijers.
