LB1 & LB2 15:30 - 17:30 'THE SPACE BETWEEN - WAYS - OF CONSIDERING THE AGENCY OF IMAGES' (DAVID), in the small project space

This is the first session in a series of informal discussion groups focused on exploring different approaches to looking at and creating images. This is not a thematic project or seminar, and participation is optional. The aim is to offer students a space to expand the ways they describe and think about their work. Each week, I will share a link to a text that has influenced my own artistic practice. Students are encouraged to read the text and bring an image that resonates with its theme, which will serve as the basis for our discussion. The first text is Against Interpretation by Susan Sontag. I chose this text because it encapsulates many of the ideas behind this discussion group and raises important questions about what we expect from the act of making and exhibiting images.
