Resolution is one of the main features that define the quality of digital images. New generations of photo, digital film cameras regulary increase the maximum resolution of captured digital images.
We will discuss theories and artistic practices that embrace low resolutions, compression aesthetics and digital glitches, as a practice of resistance to the mainstream conventions of ultra-high resolutions.
