Joint1: Trim1 Assessment: Prototyping with Barend Onneweer, Michael Murtaugh and Brigit Lichtenegger 10:30 - 17:00

The prototyping assessment is set up as an informal group critique.  You'll each be called randomly to present  for approx - 7 minutes, after which your work will be discussed with everyone.

During the prototyping assessment you'll be asked to present your choice of practical assignments and experiments in the context of the rest of the work you've engaged with during the thematic project and the self-directed research this trimester.

You are asked to reflect on your practical skills and how you have, or have not, been able to apply these to your projects and what skills you may be interested in learning or going deeper into in order to continue developing the work.

Here below is a guideline with topics we'd like you to address:

- obstacles you've ran into (related to your skill-set) - goals for next trimester

and this is taken from the the assessment criteria in the handbook:

• Engaged Response or Tailoring Assignments to Your Practice. • Conceptual Strength: “Codeworthiness” (Networked) & “Production Worthiness” (Lens-based)  • Stretching Or Extending Your Skill-set • Sharing: Engaging in Dialogue Through Critique • Documentation: Critical Reflection and Articulation of Process Through Maintaining a Progress Log On The Wiki

As far as grading goes, unless you need to resubmit your grades will be given to you at a later date.
