Joint1: 10:00 - 17:00 S-DR presentations & group crit lead by Steve Rushton, all staff except Annet are present for assessing

The format is a group crit - with both your fellow 1st year students and staff present.

20 MINUTE PRESENTATION We ask each of you to make a 20 minute presentation of your current research interests and activities, including any prototypes you have made. Please show as much material as possible to give us all a clear idea of what you are currently working on.

30 MINUTE DISCUSSION - CHAIRED BY STEVE RUSHTON After your presentation will be a discussion - led by students, While staff can and will make contributions and ask questions, we hope this discussion will be led by your peers' questions and responses to your work. We want to promote discussion and engagement between you. Steve will chair the discussion.

At the end of the day the staff will meet for an hour to discuss the presentations and discussions, and award grades.
