My name is Yoana Buzova. I am an interdisciplinary artist. I have a BA degree photography in Sofia, Bulgaria. After graduating, worked mainly on stopmotion animation. At that time I also started being curious about media art. Currently I am based in the Netherlands, doing my master studies in the Piet Zwart Institute, where I develop research methods and experiments with my own collections of different data. I work with various media but focus on making tangible works and experimenting with DIY strategies both physically and virtually. I examine processes of encoding, signification and communication to bring personal moments. Member of the Tip Top orchestra. Member of the Filmwerkplaats, Rotterdam

January 2013 I started an internship in Rogier Wieland Studio in Den Haag, Netherlands ( www.rogierwieland.com ) and since May 2013 work as a freelancer in the studio
