The beginning of something to do with sampling.

Samplebrain

samplebrain manual

A program Bobi shared that takes several audio samples, breaks them into short sections "blocks" and combines them into a network "brain" where they are compared by frequency and dynamics. A target sample is processed in a similar way and it's blocks replaced with ones from the brain. "This allows you to interpret a sound with a different one" according to the devs. Interesting form of interpretation, I wonder how this could work with other texts / other file formats.

VIP (very interesting part)

Net tab: This allows you to control multiple instances of samplebrain over the network all running their own brains simultaneously. This feature has not been tested well.</blockqoute>
