i picked up the book in my hands and walked to the scanner where i lifted the lid and placed my fingers against the glass along with the book, my palm, my arm, Emma's face, her hair, my sleeve where the skin touches the glass it bleaches just like the book does as the light and the lens pass beneath them together and the electrons travel and the ink touches the paper again this one is warmer than the skin even i pick up my identity and it goes back in my pocket and we go back to the aquarium and the paper goes into the tty and then another book joins us all the characters it has to offer are not enough no lower case no euro symbol no underlines no photographs but i place my feet over ground and my ass over chair and my fingers over keys and turn the dial to the right and the tty starts the tantric hum when my fingers try to touch it what they touch is ink the marks on the keys and touch becomes push becomes electron pathways and push again touch again and ink again onto paper again
