BUYING A KOONING

Start kickstarter
(Make a fancy flashy video that explains the project)
Finance a group buy of a single original art piece, preferably well known / famous.
(Edward Hopper's Blackwell's Island is for sale at Christie's, estimated price is 2.5-3.5mil)
Goal of the kickstarter is +- 600.000$
We make a high resolution digital file of the original painting
This image is open source and free for everyone!
Everyone gets the file + We divide the original painting itself into pieces and send it to everyone who has backed as a souvenir
The value of a painting divided into three parts:
Artistic value
Cultural value
Financial value
With this project we remove the financial value of the work whilst keeping it's artistic and cultural value!
