Experimentation through just doing, is that technically research? Visual Inspiration, is that research (Such as advertisements)? What is the common ground or the “correct way to research,” is it an active process? Critical making, critical thinking The moment you change direction or make a decision, it is a crucial element of research. As it takes you through different routes and in different directions. Is it pragmatic, or intuitive? Not conclusion driven (open ended) Ongoing active process, includes creating, analysation / reflection / inspiration Justification / Intuition, which is correct? Repetition beyond intention Hot/cold, why does the word research immediately give a cold feeling (issue with institutionalising art)
