<By the Sea>

A collaboration screenplay.Four roles(a demobbed soldier,an old dying man,a young female writer who has social phobia problem and a little girl)encouter each other at the seaside, they all come here with their individual vexation from life .Only the little girl comes to the sea with a wish to find UFO.These three exhausted adults decide to give the little girl pleasent memories before she grows up.After deciding the main line of this story,four members build their own role, construct life experiences of roles.Then put roles together,figure out what kind of conversation and story will happen among them.

A screenplay which was written by a four-member group.One of us brought up a simple story happend between four roles (a demobbed soldier,an old dying man,a young female writer who has social phobia problem and a little girl) : These four roles encouter each other at the seaside, they all come here with their individual vexation from life except the little girl comes to the sea with a wish to find UFO.These three exhausted adults decide to find a way to make her dream come ture.After deciding the main line of this story,each member of the group chose one role and began to build and construct life experiences of each one’s role.Then put these four roles together,figure out what kind of conversation and specific story will happen among them.

A photo I took in Town Baisha which located in the very south of China,in the summer of 2012.Baisha is an old, non-modern town.Residents there still live in two or three-floor wooden houses, wear hand-made clothes. After a half day walking,I sat down by the side of the flagstones street to get a rest.The torrid noonday sun roasted the road,I could almost see steam rising up.Then,this worn-out horse appeared in front of me, drawing a carriage which was used for sightseeing. At a distance,a little tourist was staring at the tired horse,with some snacks in her fattie hands. “Click”.

<River with Stories>

An ongoing 2D experimental animation. “Rivers” does not only refer to “river” which is in physical meaning,but also has a metaphorical meaning that represent all kinds of things with fluid properties (time,feelings,sound...).The whole video is made up of six small stories. By using real fragments of life as the main line ( It is about flood happend in my hometown in the 90s,and it is not a sad one.) ,lead to six different concepts/imagination about “river”.
