15/01/2013 Thesis outline:

My thesis will be a factual, unpretentious document, which explores different aspects of the everyday. I will describe my methodology and reflect upon my practice and progress in the form of a log. Next to this I will write down my individual perception of the everyday and give my body of work context by discussing everyday-theory and practices of other artists such as Tacita Dean, Annette Messager and others. The thesis will have the form of a small handmade book illustrated with Polaroid photographs.

1st chapter: Introduction / Project proposal (shorter version)

-Descriptions of video works / photographs -Annotations of readings (‘The Everyday’) -Relation/Juxtapose between my work and the context (relation to other artists and theories) -Polaroid photographs with personal texts

Bibliography:

-‘Everyday life and Cultural Theory – Ben Highmore

-‘Tacita Dean’ – Tacita Dean
