What you want to make?

I want to make a script which will eventually become a film. The script is an adaptation of an in-depth research of a historical figure, glorified or neglected from history itself, blended with real and fictional elements. After the research, events of his life, his philosophy towards life or personal happenings can be interpreted sometimes in a symbolic or metaphorical visual language. Eventually, the character of the film will be placed in certain created situations upon which he is interacting, or contemplating or giving his insights. The process of making the film will be creating miniature set ups which resemble imaginary spaces, an abstract space of consciousness that connotates or not visual memories and dreams.

Why you want to make it? What matters in it?

I find interesting the process of diving into someone’s life’s, get to know him and try to imagine him and interpret his life according to your own personal understanding and experiences. A kind of appropriating life and history itself. His life particularly will be again and again reinterpreted to new ends, taken over, transformed, and redirected; “all events in the organic world are a subduing, a becoming master, and all subduing and becoming master involve a fresh interpretation, an adaptation through which any previous “meaning” and “purpose” are necessarily obscured and even obliterated.”
