Her works focus on using micro-material creates abstract images and noisy sound. In her dust series work, she considers dust collected from her room as self-portrait, evidence of being, instrument of sound, and elements for images. By putting actual dust into audio-visual devices, she reveals the stories and memories behind dust while gives critical response to the current fetish for high-resolution clear images.

Nan Wang [CN] is a media artist and experimental filmmaker, Currently studies and live in Rotterdam. Her art practice is the experimentation and search for the intersection between memories and technology. She creates artworks; mainly focus on abstraction video and sound, using both digital and analogue media, searching for new possibilities of expression and researching how micro-perceptions and fragmented memories, constructs individual reality.
