She calls Lev Kuleshov Montage theory. Besides the discovery of the effect of montaging two movie shots creates a third meaning added upon the meaning of the two originally Kuleshov argued that film should be considered as art similarly as they argue these days if internet art could be considered as art. She fears that the 'old dudes' - as she calls them - who basically use the same copy-paste techniques in modern art like found photography, collaging won't accept this new form of art as capital lettered ART. One of the main fears of the 'old dudes' could be that with this new copy-paste technique literally everybody could became an artist and back then some specialized manual techniques or skills were needed even to do found photography based art. Copy-paste technique again - just like actually found photography technique - once opened up the possibilities to artists so the old dudes they fear their own authority.
