LB1 & LB2: EYE RESEARCH LAB FIRST MEETING AT EYE FILMMUSEUM, IJpromenade 1, 1031 KT Amsterdam - Barend leaves for AMS @ 14:15 for a 14:36 intercity train from the Blaak station, -> -> Ams central -> -> and take the ferry to the other side of the Amstel River

Next week we have our first meeting / briefing about the EYE RESEARCH LABS project. For first years this is an obligatory project - as it forms an integral part of your TOLLBOX SESSIONS. Any second years that would like to exhibit at EYE for the second time are very welcome.

The meeting in Eye on September 24 is a tightly scheduled afternoon regarding the Research Labs.

16.30— we all meet in the cinema 2 EYE FILMMUSEUM for a brief demonstration on the project.

Anna Abrahams, Mark-Paul Meyer and Simona Monizza and Anna Dabrowska will explain the aims, possibilities and the practical sides of the Research Labs. Claartje Opdam, Eye exhibition manager, will also give a short introduction to the upcoming Eye exhibition on Andrei Tarkovsky, which you will have the opportunity to visit at h 18.15.

17.30 we will assemble in The Room at the Top at EYE for drinks and a speed-date so students from different programs can encounter each other.

19.15 there is an Eye on art program, a lecture by Edwin Carels on Tarkovsky. Edwin is a great ally of the PZI Lens-BAsed Program - collaborating each year with us as an IFFR programmer. To attend this lecture you need to purchase your own ticket for 9.50 euro or use a cineville pass.

After the event you can apply to Leslie to make an expense claim to each be re-imbursed for rail fares (with student discount) and the lecture tickets.
