Thursday, the 24th of April, from 13.00 until 18.00.

What was before the mp3-player, portable cd-player (discman) or smartphone? The walkman of course! How could we forget the first days of enjoying mobile high fidelity with these mysterious small black boxes. It's time to open up the walkman and have a look into the interaction between mechanics and electronics. Our forensic and archaeological view will help us to rearrange, reengineer and transform the walkman into a fabulous instrument. Learn basic technics for walkman and cassette bending and counter-intuitive usage of technology.

Not without a sense of pride and astonishment Piet Zwart and WORM welcome former exchange student and extraordinary engineer wizard Joseph Knierzinger back from Austria to give a forensic cassette workshop. The entrance fee for this workshop usually is 15 euros, but because Leslie and Florian agree that it is an important part of the further education of anyone participating in a media course all PZ students are free to attend! There are only 10 spots available however, so write your name underneath as soon as possible if you want to participate:
