LB1: "Memory and Repetition: From Film to Algorithmic Loops" with Javi

14:00 - 17:00, WH.02.108 Computer Instruction Room (Interaction Station)

This class will focus on memory and repetition. We will introduce Structural Films, AV installations that make use of loops, and the animated GIFs phenomena. We will experiment with algorithmic loops, and discuss their similarities and differences with video, sound and film loops.
