MFAD2 GRS with Marloes, Steve and Natasha

This week, we gather input from others. We each give feedback on the essay of a colleague. These are the teams:

  • Mark reads Mika,

  • Sandra reads Clara,
  • Avital reads Sandra,
  • Clara reads Avital.

Don't forget to send your team mate your latest draft on Monday the 15th so they can read it ahead of the session. Thank you & happy writing :)

In this session we will revisit the method we used at an earlier stage in the writing process.

Method: Writer – Please remain silent while your colleague make comments on your writing. Please listen to what the text communicates to them and make notes on any changes you need to make. After this stage, open up a more general discussion, identify your methods and approaches and outline your plan for completing the text &c:

This week's sessions will run as joint tutorials. So please send your latest draft on Monday the 15th to the reader you are paired with:

Please read your fellow student’s thesis with care, and come prepared with thoughtful and considered feedback e.g. comments, questions, highlighted/specific examples of where the thesis is working well, or where you felt the text could be clearer, etc.
