Feel free to visit the cozy living room of Ani & Haakien Hostel on this wintry Sunday afternoon, for some music, food and drinks. To add lustre to their newest 7 inch single release, the Rotterdam based record label YCR arranges a Sunday afternoon show with performances by Niek Hilkmann and St. Polaroid. These acts are both responsible for one side of the split single: Niek Hilkmann (also known as Yoshimi) wrote a song called 'Collie' for his old dog Trixie; St. Polaroid sings about the thoughts and actions of the first person to swim the English Channel, back in 1875, in 'Matthew Webb'. This afternoon, the single will be available for the first time. Besides, Ani & Haakien take care of your tummy's needs by providing soup with bread, hot chocolate, leftovers of Sinterklaasavond (Saint Nicholas' eve) and of course the usual beers and colas. Entrance is free!
