WEDNESDAY'S OUTCOME:
Write your own research proposal for this trimester’s methods class:
Word count 500 words max;
Guidelines:
* Set outcome(s): will you produce essay(s), annotations, a wiki, a website, a zine, a podcast, jointly authored texts?
* What do you want to read, annotate, watch and discuss? What is your material?
* Identify key themes. Note: you might want to develop the research strands you were following last trimester.
* Articulate a relation between your interests as a practitioner (the projects you are making) and the central concerns of your research proposal.
* Set your own criteria for the success and failure of your research proposal. Simply put: what do you want to get out of your proposed research? What will make it successful, for you? How can it fail, by your own standards?

This will be defined by you (see above) and agreed with Steve
Research groups (comprising 3 or 4 people)
The groups will meet every RW&RM session to read, discuss progress and guide each other’s work.
At the beginning of each session you will set an agenda and outcome for that day.
Wednesday 7 Jan 2020:
   
Group one: meet with Steve at 11:00 to discuss your research plans
Group two: meet with Steve at 12:00 to discuss your research plans
Group three: meet with Steve at 14:00 to discuss your research plans
Group four (if there are four groups): meet with Steve at 15:00 to discuss your research plans
FORTHCOMING SESSIONS (
During the next four sessions (until 18 March):
1) Meet in groups
2) work on group and/or individual research
3) Steve gives individual and group tutorials.
3) March 18: review progress.
Give individual and group presentations.
