what is "reviewed"

"Book of Beige, Pink and Green" is a publication, accompanied by food sharing events; The "BBPG" is a collection of product images procured from IKEA website, and average color swatches. In the book, images of similar shades are placed on the same page. The "food sharing event" invites happily consuming eaters to taste homemade cake which has 5 color gradients.

"How Many Cats: A Vision Test I&II" is a -two editions- publication, which assumes(?) the form of a vision test, similar to color blindness test. It consists of a questionnaire for attendants to fill in, and 7 pages of pictures of slightly varied composition and in content. Every image is shrinked at an unreadable size of 1.25 cm * 1.93 cm. The pictures form a collection of four years, capturing myself with cats at different moments. Each row in the collection is composed of images taken at a single event, usually 1 to 7 images.

The quetionairees must give quantitive results and fill in the questionnaire. -- how

In addition to quantitive results from the first edition, the second edition asks the questionnairee to re-draw images of cats.

how is

The product images are compiled by mass downloading method known as data scraping. Or, firefox browser conveniently allows to download media content from each webpage.

The color swatches are derived from product images. The math is: program iterates R, G, B layers of the image, iterates each pixels on each layer, adds up the quantity, divide by pixel amount, and put layers back together to form a color swatch.

The color gradients in the cake are achieved by pouring each gradient after another subsequently into the cake mould.

"How Many Cats" involves no technicality.

why is

About movements and excerpts of movements; about experiences and excerpts of experiences. Massumi's words textually explain experience I designed:

"Concept of position starts from extracting movement from the picture"

"How to define the body, is not the movement itself, but its starting point and ending point. Movement is secondary to the positions that links the movement. The positions are prescribed, to add movement back to the positions, the result is result of multiplying by zero"

"The movement of an arrow, the arrow is never at any positions, it is en route during these positions. A road is not composed of positions, it is not degradable: a dynamic whole."
