René Coelho Masterclass

Netherlands Media Art Institute[1]
September 20–22, 2010

The René Coelho Masterclass is a three day program with presentations by theorists and artists who will talk about their work, their sources of inspiration and artistic practices. The goal of the masterclass is to give you an insight into the great variety in disciplines which make up the field of contemporary media art. During the course the following subjects will be addressed: videoart, soundart, performances, digital (interactive) installations, internet art and open source art. Several artists and others working with Media art will either talk about their area of expertise, focusing on the theoretical or the practical aspects or they will provide a workshop which allows you to explore the subject in a hands-on manner.
