Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Drawing on research interests centered around social construction, subject design and embodied reality, OCD as a media object intends to map the feedback relationship existing between subjectivation and the brain defense mechanisms. Besides that, it intends to study how the exponential growth of socially engineered networks impacts anxiety related disorders which attempt to shape their surroundings. In an almost perverse way, how does diagnosing oneself as affected by the illness that attempts to gain back control feeds into a normalizing, categorization discourse?
