14-02-06 Fountainhead

Considering a narrative has a form and a direction. How is meaning structured to us in terms of technology and represenation. The fountainhead snippets of narrative, slices of meaning. Disconnection from context that gave their work and their self identity meaning and value. gives person a significant mental challenge to re-evaluate itself.

What is a society once it is no longer limited and defined by such things as location, proximity, vernacular culture, shared history, local currencies, economies, time-zones and languages.

The fountainhead seen through feminist eyes nowadays. In the Fountainhead (vidor rand) Truth is a concept bandied around by antagonistic and competing architects. Etc. Ruthlessly competitive individualism and the exploitative duplicotous market at the centre or in place of. Society produces an environment determined by uncaring mutual exploitation.

Nowadays we must concede that a rather Rand-y neoliberalised society is the society we live in in which highly individualised personalities, with a believe in freedom that only comes from doing exactly what they want to do without interuption or consideration for others, is the madness we are liing in today.

By re-arranging the story in a different way shining a different light upon it and actually critisizing this way.

Today we see our lives and our world not as conveniently quantified , given and declared by commodities but more than ever asfluid rich plural events through which we feel free and confident to inetract re mix/edit, reform relounch ourselves into an unlimited speculative discourse. Glocal society.
