important things with setting up a network a single local server that one admin can create users for to create 'private' network. These would of been phone numbers in the day. create accounts for people using "sudo su" so that you become admin (shown by # at the end of directory) - adduser

once you create a user for the network have a look at - ipconfig

using the ip address of the router you have plugged into the pi create a shell command

- ssh max@youripadress
